Elaine, I'm sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He and your Mom were wonderful neighbors and always had kind things to say. I have fond memories of stopping there and having coffee....we always had a lot of things to talk about. Anthony enjoyed going there and playing with Justin, too! Our prayers are with you.

So sorry to hear of Chester's passing. Our favorite memory of Chester is the mission trip to Red Bird Mission. When Chester spoke, he always had something that was worth listening too. We will never forget how the youth that were with us on that trip moved to sit closer to Chester at the campfire when he started to speak. He will be missed.

My parents knew Chester & Ilene many years ago. I just met them about 10 years ago. Always enjoyed visiting with them at church dinners both in Lehigh & Pilot Mound. Prayers for the family.

Lots of fond memories with Chester showing us his antiques in the little house on the farm... he had a great eye and an appreciation for quality...

When we came to town I knew Chester as the man with the mutton chops. He was a very nice man and will be missed by many. My sympathy to the family.

So very sorry to hear of Chester's passing. My sympathy to the family. Chester used to come into my office at DeKalb in Boone a lot and was always a such a pleasant person to work with. Have thought of him often in the past years.
